Thailand or the Kingdom of Thailand was known as Siam until May 11, 1949. The word " Thai "  means freedom. Thailand is the only Southeast Asia country which never to have been colonized by western power.

Thailand is a constitutional monarchy and the king is highly respected.

The official calendar in Thailand based on Buddhist Era, which is ahead of the Grenorian calendar, 543 years.

Thailand's founded is tied to the long lives of Sukhothai Kingdom founded in 1238-1437 A.D., after which the Ayutthaya Kingdom was established in 1400-1767 A.D. Siam is the name , which the country was known all over the world until on May, 11, 1949. Siam had been changed the name  of the country to " Thailand ", officially. In this website we will guide you , tourists, to Wat-Pra-Haew, Wat Pao, Thai massage, Thai food, Thai restaurant, Muay Thai, etc.

Bangkok is the official name of Krug Thep, is one of the Asia's most cosmopolitan cities. Bangkok is the capital  city of Thaland which located on the banks of the Chao Praya river.It is commercial , cultural, spiritual, diplomatic, education a center of the country. Most of Thai food blends five fundamental taste, sour, sweet, spicy, salty and bitter.Thai cooking usually use some ingredients such as limejuice, chilies, fish sauce, garlic . Thai foods which many tourists need to tatse, are tom-yum-kut, pad Thai, Thai curry, Thai noodles, etc.

There are many Thai food restaurants in Bangkok.

Muay Thai, Thai ancestors were talented in creating and implementing the applying different parts of human body, namely elbows, knees, hands, feet, and head, fighting against the aggressor and self-defence. Muay Thai or Thai boxing is a martial art that can apply to real life situation both in sport and defense. Thai people had defended themselves and their land from aggressive power. Over time, it became a rite of passage for Thai men to take up training in Muay Thai, Thai martial arts.

1) Wat Phra Sri Rattana Sasadaram or Wat Pra Kaew, generally called the temple of the Emerald Buddha Image.

2) Wat Pao or Wat Phra Chettuphon. The Reclining Buddha Image . The image of sleeping Buddha is made of cement bricks covered with gold leaves. The reclining Buddha Image is 15 meters high, 46 meters long.
